The main game includes 8 unique suspect roles. Three expansion packs, sold separately, add 8 characters each and expand the game to 32 unique suspects, plus an optional team of duplicate wine-taster roles for larger groups.

Murder Mystery Party Game Synopsis:

Ivanna Katenka, an enigmatic airport security clerk with a flair for the extraordinary, is hosting an exclusive wine-tasting party at her cozy home in the quaint town of Gladerock.

Known for her impeccable taste in wine and ability to create a tranquil, inviting atmosphere, Ivanna’s gatherings are nothing short of legendary.

This time, however, there is a twist. Since the group’s last gathering, whispers of scandal and intrigue have rippled through this circle of friends.

Despite the lingering tension, Ivanna is determined to bring everyone together. She hopes the clink of glasses, the aroma of fine vintages, and an elegant evening of wine tasting will help mend fractured relationships.

You have received an invitation, and curiosity has drawn you in.

Will the evening bring reconciliation, or will secrets from the past bubble to the surface?

We had a great time and appreciated the game setup, instructions, and content. Only advice to others is that players share their “secrets” (info only the character is supposed to know) with at least one other player. We kept all secrets to ourselves and, to solve it in the end, we started sharing the secrets with each other and only then could we figure it out. Overall, great mystery game and we definitely want to do another one!

We had a great night!

It was easy to organise with all the very detailed documents and it went really smoothly - we had a laugh!!

Wine

Game was a lot of fun however the characters were a bit complicated.

Super Fun Night even though we wanted more detail and the murderer was pretty obvious

We had a GREAT time playing the characters. Loved the pregame items. It got everyone in the mood. The collection of characters was fun and our group were great actors so they really embraced it. Everyone did the accents and the variety of characters was awesome! For the game itself, the story was a rather fantastical and details pretty thin, also the character professions were not well understood by the writers e.g. computer programmer is a different job to tech support but the game used them interchangeably (who cares really, but a guest brought it up and it's details that make something really excel!). Our group is a relatively academic bunch so we craved more detail to pour over and found the murderer to be disappointingly obvious. I spent ages trying to work out which game to pick, even called the help line, but didn't get much guidance. I should have gone for a hard one perhaps? Or maybe some are more tested than others and have more details or more red herrings to discard? Either way, these are finer points that would have made it exceptional (and helped justify the heft package price - incidentally a $80 mark up for printing and envelop stuffing seemed pretty absurd, but maybe given it's a small company labor costs to do that are just that high?!), but as it was, it was really fun, and that's the aim! So while it wasn't exactly as I'd hoped in terms of the complexity of the story, it was an awesome night and we'd love to play one again.
