A rip-roaring Wild West murder mystery party game set in the lawless town of Gravestone, Arizona. This Old West mystery is packed with ruthless outlaws, legendary lawmen, hidden treasure, secret codes, simmering rivalries, suspicious townsfolk, and danger at the Gravestone Saloon.

Murder Mystery Party Game Synopsis:

The mayor of Gravestone, Arizona, lives in constant fear. An unidentified killer has put bullet holes in the backs of the town’s previous three sheriffs, leaving the community without law and order. With no sheriff to keep the peace, Gravestone has fallen under the control of a ruthless outlaw gang known as The Ranchers.

Meanwhile, the legendary Wylie Arp has retired from his position as sheriff of Duck City, Kansas. One of the most feared lawmen in the country, Wylie has traveled west with his brothers and friends to begin a quieter life. Unfortunately, Wylie believed Gravestone would be a peaceful town where he could invest his savings, open a business, and leave law enforcement behind. After learning of Wylie’s arrival, the mayor asked Bella Starry to invite the townsfolk to a celebration at the Gravestone Saloon. The mayor hopes Wylie and his brothers will agree to take over the abandoned sheriff’s station and finally bring The Ranchers under control. The gathering will be difficult to manage, since the town’s outlaws are certain to attend and there is no acting sheriff to keep them in line.

Adding to the excitement, an elder has revealed that secret codes are hidden throughout Gravestone. The codes supposedly lead to buried treasure inside Gravestone Cave on the outskirts of town. Many residents have already begun searching for the clues, but the treasure remains undiscovered. Bella Starry plans to keep the townsfolk entertained with festive drinks, hearty food, and Wild West party games. Hopefully, everyone will keep their weapons holstered and remain on their best behavior. Will Wylie help restore order to Gravestone, or will he slip away and leave the lawless town behind?

You plan to attend the celebration at the Gravestone Saloon. This is where your story begins.

We've done a number of mystery parties from this company and others. This is one of the best in terms of storyline and the engagement from all characters (including those optional and those in the expansion pack 1). Some other mysteries I've done it was very obvious who the optional characters were, but in this one I thought it was well connected to the story. I think the puzzle for the gold could be a little more tricky - but other than that everyone had a great time! Btw. AI photo generation of your guests in wild west outfits worked a treat :)

I'm your huckleberry!

Have hosted a few of these parties, and I found that this one is wildly fun for everyone. It is imperative that everyone dress up, bring the props, etc. I always make myself an optional character so that if I'm distracted by hosting, it does not affect the game; however, this time I was a required character. It was totally fine, and the game ran smoothly! I always create envelopes for the optional characters that no one is assigned just in case, and this time it worked out as someone brought a friend and she was able to play! TWO people thought she was the murderer, so she was an excellent addition. We didn't play any of the side games, but they did look extra fun. As always, they entire group is asking when the next mystery is! Thanks MMP for a great evening.

I’ve done 3 murder mystery parties and this was my favorite! So much fun and pretty easy to do. Usually at some point everyone is confused but this one played out really well! Loved it!!!

Enjoyed but prefer scripted

Enjoyed the concept of the mystery. Enjoyed the variations during the 3rd round. Most of the people who attended would rather have a scripted mystery as apposed to a mingle type mystery party. Enjoyed the content of the mystery thought; they just wished it was scripted. No one guessed the murderer. Overall everyone seemed to enjoy the evening. We included the Texas holdem game and did the map game and the money game—they even bribed and stole money from each other. Overall fun game.

Fun and challenging!

We hosted a 7th grade girls party. It was a little challenging for them so I would probably give the age as 15 or 16 but they had a lot of fun!

There wasn’t an answer to the map/code in the hostess packet. ??

All in all, a great game with lots of laughs and fun!

So much fun with family

We played this game with 3 generations and everyone loved it! It's definitely more fun if you have props and western style dinner as the game suggests. We got through it per the timeline but could have extended play for a lot longer, since none of us are trained actors. Definitely recommend for wholesome fun and great memories

A great experience!

We enjoyed this for New Years! Took about three hours with most of the bonus games being played. The story line was fun and left a good enough room for fun improv. The murderer could have been concealed in the writing better since I caught a glimpse of it during the cutting out part. Also lining up all the character sheets to the same size to make cutting multiple pages together an option would have made this easier. BUT overall I’m rating this game perfect because it has a fun and entertaining storyline.

Excellent!!

We bought this with an extension pack for our 14 yr old daughter's birthday party. We had a total of 14 teens (age 13-18) participating. Everyone had a super time. It was well organized, easy to implement and worth every penny. Loved it!

Really Fun! (But disagree with solution)

This made for an incredibly fun party! It was exciting to hear each character chatting about their clues, rumoring about gold, and snipping at each other with threats. We could feel the plot thickening and it felt thick with anticipation. When we guessed who the murderer was, there was a variety of guesses, which was exciting, but we were all very dissapointed when the murder what not someone on our radar. One key interaction was made between just her and the victim, so no one else was aware of it, and the reveal left the party feeling flat. While we had a blast, we felt a little jipped at the end.

Favorite!

We have done a mystery dinner every year for the past 6 years. This was our favorite! Well organized, executed and entertaining.
I will go to this site again next year. We all dressed the part and had a prize for the winner. Very cool!

Awesome Party

We recently hosted this party at our home with a group of 20. All our our guests commented on what a fun evening it was. We all had a great time, good laughs and will surely be repeat customers soon!

Wild party in the Wild West

Everyone had a blast. The kit was well put together. It took a bit of time (as expected) in advance and I was able to put every together without seeing who the killer was. I will be a return customer.

Very fun!

I was a little nervous as this was my first murdermystery party, but this really does line it all out for you - very easy to follow the instructions and leaves enough room for your own creativity and stories! Our group wants to do it again sometime, and I think the second time around it will be easier to get into character.
You'll get as much out of it as you put in it! Very fun and I would definitely recommend.

Had a great time!

This was so much fun! We had about 15 people, so there were plenty of characters to choose from to be the murderer. However, it seemed a little too obvious. Really liked the option of a side game and recipe suggestions also. You definitely get your money's worth!

Everything I needed!

I attended a mystery dinner a few years ago, and since then I'd wanted to host my own. This kit gave me everything I needed for a successful, fun evening. From characters to costumes, invitations to menus, I was covered. The hardest part was choosing my players!

Great Wild West fun!

We hosted this for an office party and you'll never believe how much our group got into character. It was a hoot! Will do again soon.
