Mystery Party Game Synopsis:

Attention, citizens of Holly Hills! The annual Snowflake Manor Tacky Sweater Party is almost here. This festive celebration honors Christmas Queen Martha May Bells, who has jingled her way to the crown for eight consecutive years. Her famous home on Jolly Street in the Sugarplum Point subdivision is decorated with spectacular holiday ornamentation and lights from around the world.

This year’s celebration will deck the halls of the magnificent Silver Bells Ballroom at Snowflake Manor. The famous Holly Hills silver bells will be displayed in the foyer for everyone to admire while guests mingle in their tackiest sweaters, enjoy delicious festive treats, and celebrate with lively entertainment.

Pull out your merriest and most outrageously decorated Christmas sweater and prepare for an evening of jingling holiday cheer. The silver bells are polished, the guests are arriving, and everything appears ready for a perfect celebration—but those treasured bells may not remain safely on display for long. This is where your story begins.

Host a Large Group Game:

Husband wants to do it again

My family thoroughly enjoyed this. My mature 7 year old grandson was spectacular and played his role perfectly. There was slight confusion in the middle; and therefore, none of guessed correctly. But, that was okay. It was still a night of fun. I love that the directions were so complete.

Great Party

This party pack was way above and beyond my expectations. The amount of detail in each of the characters was phenomenal!!! My group really got into their characters which was so easy with the descriptions and costume suggestions. We laughed so hard at some of the clues. I think we will be talking about this party for quite awhile. BRAVO and Thank you for such a great party. I would give you 10!

Fun Characters & Easy to Put On - No One Could Guess the Thief

This was a fun addition to our Christmas party. I liked that people could just come in an ugly Christmas sweater as a costume or they could get more into character. Also I appreciated that I didn't have to round up props. That made it much simpler to host.

People enjoyed the funny characters. We had 3 tweens in our game. One was Kevin from Home Alone, and the other two were members of Clark's family. Those were optional characters so if they got bored and bugged out it wouldn't affect the outcome.

I added the cash game which was especially fun for the tweens. Got my fun money from Amazon. People asked if it was real, which added to the excitement.

Three areas with room for improvement:
- No one could guess the thief. We're a relatively bright bunch, and I was surprised that no one figured it out. Perhaps the clues could be a little more generous with helpful information.

- The size of the clue cards is too big for a standard #10 envelope. So I used more expensive 9x12 envelopes. Perhaps the clues could be on multiple cards that are 3.5x8.5?

- With so many characters and three rounds of clues, it would be helpful if the downloads included a PDF of clue labels or a spreadsheet with the character names to make our own labels. Otherwise it's a lot of handwriting on the envelopes.
