This dark housewarming mystery is packed with eccentric Noxhelm residents, sinister neighborhood history, paranormal activity, buried grudges, disturbing secrets, suspicious relationships, shocking twists, two victims, and murder inside the infamous Ripper House.
This game is inspired by the award-winning young adult horror-mystery novel The Noxhelm Murders by Dr. Bon Blossman.
You will receive a ghost whisper track mp3 that you can play during the party. You'll also receive a graphic showing the amplitude & locations of the sound waves on the track, revealing where the whispers are so you can test the volume in advance.
Murder Mystery Party Game Synopsis:
In the quiet, fog-covered town of Noxhelm, an unassuming neighborhood known as Misty Oaks surrounds a house with an unspeakable past. Built during the 1920s on an ancient burial ground by the notorious Butcher of Noxhelm, Ripper House has allegedly claimed more than one hundred lives. Some of the victims are rumored to remain buried within the crawl spaces beneath the estate.
Visitors have reported flickering lights, slamming doors, unexplained noises, and other paranormal activity. Historical records warn that anyone who owns the property will be cursed with doom, despair, death, and destruction.
Ben and Brenda Biggs, along with their teenage daughter Merry, are the newest residents of 203 Moorgate Street. Unaware of the full extent of their home’s macabre history, the Biggs family has invited the residents of Misty Oaks to a housewarming party. The guests will include suspicious neighbors, former owners of Ripper House, town officials, law-enforcement officers, students, professionals, and residents with complicated histories of their own.
Old grudges, family conflicts, criminal connections, concealed motives, and disturbing secrets have created tension throughout Noxhelm—but hopefully, this won’t affect anyone’s spirits at the party. You have received an invitation to Ripper House. This is where your story begins.

This game was so much fun! We have played so many of these and I loved the twists in this one. The characters are a lot of fun and the setting is perfect. I recommend a bigger group for this one!
I hosted this party for a total of 13 people. We were all on vacation together, so it was important to pick a party with easy but still fun costumes.
I chose to be Detective Shockley to be involved in the fun, but also knew that is an optional character so if I accidentally found something out or needed to assist during the party it would be fine.
The characters are really fun, with a few kooky ones. We had some really good laughs along the way. The ending was a surprise and no one guessed it!
Like any murder mystery party, there is quite a bit of prep beforehand, but it was well worth it. I was able to prep everything myself without seeing any spoilers. The pages are good about warning you about spoilers, so I knew where to avert my eyes. People really got into character. We were on a week long trip together- people were talking about it before and after- it was a night to remember! I can't wait to pick out another party!
it is going to hard to find a game that will beat this. I do a murder party every year and last Halloween did this one .It is by far the best game with more twist and turns that even the party giver is shocked at the end.
Okay you got us! We did not see those twists coming! We did this party around the campfire and were like WHAT?! Great job!
My only "complaint" would be that there isn't more of a separate host's guide. I didn't want to spoil it for myself and I was so careful not to look ahead that I almost missed the thing about the forensic report and such.
We had a great time! Really fun!

FROM MMP STAFF:
We're glad the author got you! LOL. As far as the host guide - we have the materials for the download version all in one file, as many people send to UPS to get printed and this streamlines it. We do see your point about the host guide, but many times in our early days when we had separated files (we've tried almost everything), we had instances where the host didn't send all files and then their party was compromised :( We do mark the table of contents very carefully with the pages that are spoilers, so you know what to look at. We do our best! The best way to prevent spoilers is the party ready pack version - where we create the boxed set for you. Thanks for your feedback! I just wanted to clarify why the host instructions aren't separated.
Well written and easy to put together. Not a 'given' who did it. Takes some attention to detail to figure it out.
