Mystery Party Game Synopsis:
Zuri Zeller’s annual pajama party is quickly approaching, and the girls on the guest list are shopping for the perfect sleepover attire. Zuri has planned an evening filled with snacks, games, gossip, and plenty of slumber-party fun, but the celebration has taken a strange turn before the first guest has even arrived.
Every invited girl has discovered a mysterious note on her doorstep from someone calling herself the Waterford Riddler. The unidentified prankster has challenged the group to uncover her identity, and Zuri fears the Riddler may be one of the girls attending the sleepover. If the culprit is on the guest list, nobody knows what kind of mayhem she has planned.
During the party, the guests must decode the Riddler’s messages, compare clues, study the forensic evidence, and determine which girl is sabotaging the sleepover. You have received your invitation to Zuri’s pajama party, and this is where your story begins.

We hosted Pajama Party Pandemonium for our daughter’s 11th birthday party at home. We recommend this to anyone looking for a unique party theme or activity for teens or tweens! It was the perfect level of difficulty to keep them engaged and on task. The girls had a blast acting out their assigned roles - it was hilarious! The download packets and instructions made this party straight forward for us to manage as parents. We delivered character assignments and then the Riddler clue to guest’s door steps a few days before the party which generated a lot of excitement! We also gathered from home and bought (think: dollar store items!) 2-3 simple and silly props for each guest to use when they arrived to help them “get into character”. We wanted to avoid asking other parents to shop for anything extra before the party. This was a fun way to set up our table and help stage the game as everyone arrived. We played the game without extra activities and served pizza and dessert - it took about 2 hours from start to finish. Have fun!
Brilliant fun for a group of 7-9 year old girls
I’m doing this party for my great niece’s 16th birthday. She loved the aspect of not having a murder during the party but rather an investigation of a saboteur. I love the characters and the pre-game tasks. Her mom and I discussed whether this scenario might be better suited for younger girls but we decided that since this is the girl’s first Mystery Party it’s perfect!
Used this + the expansion pack for my child's 11th birthday party. We had 22 kids in total so almost all characters were used. I did not pre-assign any characters as I didn't know how many kids would cancel at the last minute (and it seemed like added work to reassign characters). Everyone was assigned characters as they walked into the party and they were quick to get into their respective roles. Was pleasantly surprised to see the number of kids who stayed in character till the end. Something I wish I could change was the fact that I skipped out on the optional games/activities thinking it would take too much time. In our case, the girls found the notes super easy to decode and and pretty much everyone guessed the 'saboteur' even before we were mid way through round 2 (or the forensic notes bit). I loved how they were so into it that they took down notes and investigated seriously. However this meant that we ended up going through the whole mystery way faster than I had planned for. They all said they had fun but wouldn't have minded a harder to solve mystery.
In terms of the all the materials provided, the instructions were easy to follow and concise.
I would definitely consider purchasing another package from here.
I was worried that this party would be too simple for a group of 14-15 year old girls, but they ended up having a fantastic time. The mysteries were just hard enough to keep them interested without being boring.
