Murder Mystery Party Game Synopsis:

Captain Jack Blacksparrow has sent word to the most notorious pirate crews of the Caribbean Sea that he is recruiting daring swashbucklers for a legendary treasure hunt on Parrot Island. The journey promises unimaginable riches, but reaching the island will require a fearless crew prepared to face dangerous waters, rival pirates, hidden traps, and whatever mysteries await beyond the shoreline.

Before setting sail, Captain Jack has summoned the prospective crew members to the Pillagin’ Pirate Tavern, a notorious mainland watering hole owned by Sir Henry Barburosa. Sir Henry is the former leader of the Privateers and is still regarded as one of the most dangerous pirates ever to roam the sea.

The assembled pirates plan to enjoy an evening of merriment, tavern rum, lively conversation, and a temporary escape from the vile grog aboard their ships. Unfortunately, many of the invited buccaneers have treacherous histories, questionable loyalties, and long-standing rivalries with the other crews. Sir Henry has vowed to keep the scallywags on their best behavior, but gathering so many notorious pirates beneath one roof may prove disastrous.

Captain Jack is apprehensive about the meeting, but he knows one thing for certain: at least one pirate will soon become the wealthiest swashbuckler in the world. Cap’n Jack is convinced that pirate will be him.

Loved this!

We did this one last summer and boy was it a hit! I set up outside around our firepit and set up a grand table. The costumes were amazing that people came up with. We had pirates music in the background and served hot apple cider in the later evening. It was fun to sit around the fire on the third round to really get into it!

We had a fantastic time, everyone enjoyed the story as it played out.

Best Party Ever

I have done 5 of these parties and this one was my FAVORITE! The guest found if very easy to find costumes for this party and enjoyed getting creative. The level of difficulty was a bit harder than some of the others, but that's what I liked about it. You have to think like a detective and really reason out the clues to figure it out.

Poorly Written

I do multiple mysteries a year with my students and this one was so disappointing. The clues were confusing and didnt really work together, the murder was very lack luster and the murderer is barely mentioned. I added a ton on my own to beef it up but still feel like it was poorly written. I have loved all my others from the company but would stay away from this one!

Parrot Island Treasure

We played this mystery game at our family party last Sunday. There were 18 of us. I was the host and although we did enjoy ourselves there was a huge problem for me. I felt the information I received was incomplete. I called support and never got through so emailed. I did receive an answer but a general boiler plate one telling me to read the instructions--no answer to my questions! This game cost almost $300! Very poor support and information was way to general.
