1970s Disco Murder Mystery Party Game Synopsis:
The legendary House of Groove Discotheque is preparing to host its annual Disco Fever Competition. Groovy cats, foxy mamas, celebrities, professional dancers, athletes, entertainers, and other unforgettable personalities will soon flock to the hottest nightclub in town to cut a rug beneath the glittering disco ball. You have spent the entire year perfecting your dance-floor moves and are ready to arrive in your finest disco threads, dazzle the judges, and claim the spotlight.
Unfortunately, the road to the competition has been anything but smooth. Dance partners are feuding, contestants are trading accusations, personal scandals have captured the public’s attention, and several participants appear determined to sabotage their rivals. The club’s management remains hopeful that everyone can set aside their grudges long enough to keep the competition moving, but tensions are rising faster than the beat of a disco anthem.
When the evening takes a deadly turn, the surviving guests must examine the evidence, question their fellow contestants, uncover hidden motives, and determine who committed the crime. You will be there because you are no square, and this is where your story begins.

The main game and all three expansion packs provide 30 unique suspect roles. Additional entourage members and film-crew players are duplicate, non-suspect team roles designed for large groups.
The expansion packs should be added in numerical order. Each larger invitation and pre-game website includes characters from the preceding packs, so hosts should assign only the roles included with the materials they have purchased.
This game is unique because the host knows the identity of the victim before gameplay and assists that player in preparing for the reveal. This knowledge does not give the host an advantage in solving the murder.

The game was amazing from start to finish! Everything was well laid out and easy to follow. We got a ton of compliments and will be recommending this site to others.
Thank you!
I chose to do this for my birthday this year and what a blast my friends and I had! It was a bit tedious in the set up, but once the ball got rolling, the game itself was very self explanatory. Everyone had so much fun getting in to character, definitely something I want to do again!
This is my second murder mystery from this company. I enjoy all of the accoutrements that are included. The characters are fun and unique. We had so much fun. We bought two expansion packs and used each character and everyone had a unique story and character.
That being said, I think there are better-organized murder mystery packages you can buy from other companies. The solve includes lots of locational details, which can be confounded based on the setting you host the party. Lots of our guests were confused about the location of the murder. The story said under the disco ball (something I, the host, wasn't clued in on), but at our location this occurred in a back room.
Lots of fun! I'd definitely recommend it, although I think there are better packages out there for similar prices.
Enjoyed this murder mystery product. It provided diverse participant options and an engaging plot. Suggestions for a dance competition were great--this was a highlight of our party. I also liked the final round and the explanations from each participant. There was a disconnect between the cause of death and the alibis of each participant.
You can't choose the victim or killer. So to purchase the box for $128.95 is a waste of your money. Once you have played it with family and friends no need to keep it because everyone knows who the victim and killer is the next time you play. I thought for $128.95 we would be able to play more than once. So not to happy with this product or sell.
