1970s Disco Murder Mystery Party Game Synopsis:

The legendary House of Groove Discotheque is preparing to host its annual Disco Fever Competition. Groovy cats, foxy mamas, celebrities, professional dancers, athletes, entertainers, and other unforgettable personalities will soon flock to the hottest nightclub in town to cut a rug beneath the glittering disco ball. You have spent the entire year perfecting your dance-floor moves and are ready to arrive in your finest disco threads, dazzle the judges, and claim the spotlight.

Unfortunately, the road to the competition has been anything but smooth. Dance partners are feuding, contestants are trading accusations, personal scandals have captured the public’s attention, and several participants appear determined to sabotage their rivals. The club’s management remains hopeful that everyone can set aside their grudges long enough to keep the competition moving, but tensions are rising faster than the beat of a disco anthem.

When the evening takes a deadly turn, the surviving guests must examine the evidence, question their fellow contestants, uncover hidden motives, and determine who committed the crime. You will be there because you are no square, and this is where your story begins.

    • Kelly Douglas may lead an expandable film crew.
    • Each team may include 25 or more duplicate players.
    • With all three expansion packs and both teams, the game can accommodate more than 80 players.

The main game and all three expansion packs provide 30 unique suspect roles. Additional entourage members and film-crew players are duplicate, non-suspect team roles designed for large groups.

The expansion packs should be added in numerical order. Each larger invitation and pre-game website includes characters from the preceding packs, so hosts should assign only the roles included with the materials they have purchased.

This game is unique because the host knows the identity of the victim before gameplay and assists that player in preparing for the reveal. This knowledge does not give the host an advantage in solving the murder.
