Murder Mystery Party Game Synopsis:

Lacey Kringel has once again agreed to host the annual Kringel’s Block Party for the Holly Hills neighborhood. The usual suspects will attend the gathering, while a few additional invitations have been distributed merely to keep the peace and prevent hostile gate-crashing.

The gossip grapevines of Hollyberry Town have been overflowing with scandal during the past year. Stories of blackmail, backstabbing, treachery, and bitter neighborhood feuds have circulated throughout this once-peaceful community. With certain residents holding grudges and others determined to settle old scores, peace on Earth may be asking too much from this cul-de-sac.

You have seen the RSVP list, and you are certain there will be drama. You also have an ax to grind with a few people attending the party, so you are more than ready to see what happens when everyone gathers beneath the holiday lights. This is where your story begins.

Host a Large Group Game:

    • 8 characters are required, and 10 are optional.
    • The co-ed game may also be played with an all-female group by using the required characters and skipping the optional male roles.

Fun and creative! This is our second murder mystery we have played through My Mystery Party. This one had creative characters and a fun story line. The one we did in the past had a video to show so we were able to follow the flow of the game. This time we didn’t and we ended up reading the results before guessing. I wish there were better directions so that the person who is putting on the party can also play without spoilers. Now that we know, we won’t do round 3 until after we guess. Event still, we had a great time and enjoyed the theme.

Lots of fun and great for large party

When you have the friends that get into parts it’s lots of fun!! I had 38 people attend the party. We gave out all the parts except for 2 that were in the kit. We did not buy expansion pack because I knew not everyone would
Get into it, but those that were not a part still engaged and asked questions. If you are a host and don’t want to know who dies it can be tricky. There is a part in the game play that people may need to go to a bathroom
Cabinet for a next step/clue. Our venue did not have a sink cabinet we used the kitchen cabinet and it just got a bit confusing for some to not be noticeable. Had I as the host known about certain parts I could have revised it a bit better. But through it all we had fun. No one guessed the killer!!!

Great time!

I used this for a girls holiday get together and we had a blast! Easy to do with a little prep. Except if you're the host make sure you can stay sober for all three sessions! (I didn't...)

Well organized & easy to host

We hosted this party for 18 total people in our home and it was well organized and easy to host for newbies, but also very fun and engaging. We will totally do this again!

We played this at our Office Christmas party and everyone had a blast!

Fun times!

I stressed over the details of the game before we played, which was unnecessary. The instructions were clear and straightforward. Our players were great sports & jumped right into character. We had a group of 11. We could have drug out the game for much longer, but in reality, it took less than two hours to play. We laughed so much & so hard that a couple of our ladies peed a bit! I would absolutely recommend My Mystery Party, & we will definitely play again!

So much fun! We had a blast!!!

This game was an absolute blast! My guests completely got into their roles and made it their own. The mystery was funny and fun to play. I would highly suggest playing this game! The characters are hysterical. It was super easy to put it all together, but I may do the boxed kit next time for ease.

Fun Party game!

This was a great game to play with our family for our Christmas get together! It was a little confusing/overwhelming to read through all of the printed out material, but once I read it through a few times it was fun to play and made a lot of sense!
