The game includes 8 required suspect roles, all of which may be played by any gender. There are no expansion packs or duplicate team roles because the mystery is integrated directly into a 9-hole or 18-hole golf tournament, allowing any number of golfers or investigative teams to participate.
This country-club mystery is packed with competitive golfers, wealthy socialites, suspicious employees, political corruption, old rivalries, hidden motives, evidence posted throughout the course, and murder during a prestigious charity tournament at the Bloodworth Falls Country Club.

Golf Tournament Murder Mystery Game Synopsis:
Bloodworth Falls is a charming mountain city known for its landmark 19th-century buildings and gloomy local history. Its most popular attraction is Black Night Castle, a historic estate inherited by Julian Tremblay, the wealthiest resident in town. To raise money for the castle’s restoration, Mayor Olly Divot has organized a prestigious charity golf tournament in Julian’s honor at the exclusive Bloodworth Falls Country Club.
The town’s most influential residents, business owners, country-club employees, reporters, and competitive golfers have registered for the event. The tournament champion will receive a lifetime country-club membership and a collection of luxurious prizes, but several participants share bitter rivalries, suspicious histories, hidden motives, and secrets that could threaten the fundraiser.
When the tournament takes a deadly turn, the golfers must examine evidence posted throughout the course, observe the suspect actors, compare information, and submit their best deduction before leaving the final hole. You have entered the tournament, and this is where your story begins.
How the Golf Tournament Murder Mystery Works:
-
Suspect Actors: 8 required characters
- All 8 suspect roles are required.
- Every suspect role is gender-flexible.
- The actors interact with golfers at registration and throughout the course.
- There are no optional suspect roles or separately sold expansion packs.
-
Participating Golfers:
- An unlimited number of golfers may participate individually or in investigative teams.
- Each golfer or team receives a mystery investigation sheet.
- The golfers do not portray suspect characters.
- The mystery may be incorporated into a private, charity, corporate, club, or league tournament.
-
18-Hole Tournament Format:
- Round One takes place during the first 9 holes as the actors mingle with the golfers.
- The murder is announced near the midpoint of the tournament.
- Evidence cards are displayed throughout the back 9 holes.
- Golfers submit their final deductions as they complete the course.
- The solution may be presented during an after-party or displayed as guests leave.
-
9-Hole Tournament Format:
- Several actors greet and mingle with golfers during registration.
- The remaining actors are stationed throughout the first 4 holes.
- The murder is announced at Hole 5.
- Evidence is posted on Holes 6–9.
- Golfers submit their deductions after completing the final hole.
This is not a traditional sit-down or mingling mystery party. The game is designed specifically to unfold during a 9-hole or 18-hole golf tournament.
The game requires 8 actors to portray the suspects, but the number of participating golfers is unlimited. Investigation sheets may be distributed to individual golfers or teams.
This version does not include a traditional victim sign or forensic report. Instead, the game uses a murder-announcement sheet and six evidence cards posted throughout the golf course.
A commercial license is required when the game is used for a public, promotional, fundraising, or commercially operated event rather than a qualifying private tournament.
This is the instant download version of the game. Simply download, print, and prepare everything you need to play, with no shipping fees or delivery wait.

We did this for an end of season fun day event for our ladies golf league. It was a smashing success. We had our head pro as the victim and incorporated our club manager, superintendent, restaurant manager, chairman of the board and other key members of our club as suspects.
