Murder Mystery Party Game Synopsis:
Dr. Larry Doom, heir to the Doom estate and a renowned chemist, has led a troublesome life filled with misery, lies, and deceitful practices. After receiving troubling news from his doctor, Dr. Doom began reflecting on the many cruel deeds he had committed against those closest to him.
In a sudden fit of regret, he pleaded with his niece, Miss Crimson—the only person still in his good graces—to host an elegant dinner at Doom Mansion. Dr. Doom claims he wants an opportunity to reconcile with the friends, relatives, and former associates he has wronged over the years.
The guests will undoubtedly arrive in style, anticipating an intriguing and mysterious evening inside the legendary mansion. Dr. Doom has planned a glamorous gathering filled with sumptuous food, engaging conversations, entertaining party games, and his long-awaited apologies.
You have received an invitation from Dr. Doom and hope the evening holds nothing more dangerous than uncomfortable confessions. Unfortunately, Dr. Doom is not known for his honesty, and this gathering could be a setup filled with secrets, lies, and danger. This is where your story begins.

Overall we had a great evening and enjoyed the game. We played with 6 characters and felt like we would have liked more detail to help solve it. Maybe you get that with bigger groups? Still, we would be happy to recommend it!
received everything very easy to download and print.
can't wait to do this mystery game.
Really liked the game, it wasn't too difficult. We enjoyed our thanksgiving day playing this game
Got this as a last minute idea for dinner party. Easy set up and was a blast to play. Instructions were clear and everyone had a great time!
What I love about this mystery party set is that the host can participate in the mystery if you have someone to help you set it up ahead of time. I had a friend organize the clues for me before we left for vacation so that everyone was able to participate. Another thing I love is that the themes are so family-friendly without being boring at all! And there is room for improvisation but still enough script to have a direction.
But what I love the most is that, if you have a player that you do not want to be the "bad guy," then you simply assign him/her one of the optional roles. My younger brother (24yo) has Down syndrome, so I was unsure if he would be able to play his role alone, but because we all went into the game knowing he wasn't the bad guy, we were able to relax and help him a lot more without fear of ruining the secrets. My brother played the butler, which was perfect because he was rather quiet the whole time. Great GREAT feature! (This would work for a child who wanted to participate as well.)
The one thing that I did not like was the the host's instructions are a little confusing. Again, I played a role (Ms. Crimson, who is the dinner party host in the story too) while also hosting the mystery party, so I did not read ahead before the day of the party. That could have had an effect, but I was very confused, which caused us all to break out of character a couple times.
Overall, great product!!
