This instant-download expansion adds five character roles to the main game. Review the expansion character list below for details.
The five expansion characters are members of the Mugwort Mansion staff who receive individual character packets and actively participate in the story. However, they are ruled out as suspects during Round One and cannot be guilty.
This pack is ideal when you want five additional guests to have named characters and a larger role than spectators. Video-chat mysteries are generally easiest to follow with a focused group of suspects, so these non-suspect characters allow you to expand the group without adding more possible culprits.
The expansion also includes a spectator packet for additional non-suspect, non-roleplaying guests. This allows an unlimited number of spectators to follow the investigation without adding more character storylines.
Helpful Expansion-Pack Resources
Use the resources below to review the expansion characters, invite your guests, and help the mansion staff prepare for the mystery. The expansion pre-game website is optional but highly recommended.
Expansion players should receive the invitation and player contact sheet included with this pack. The mansion staff members know one another and are familiar with all of the invited guests. However, the main-game characters do not know the mansion staff before the party, allowing the staff members to remain a surprise until the game begins.
