This option allows you to add an available expansion pack to an existing My Mystery Party boxed kit. The additional character materials will be professionally prepared to coordinate with your original boxed kit.
If your expansion pack is not listed above, contact us at support@mymysteryparty.com, and we will have it added for you within 24 hours.
Please allow two additional business days for our staff to prepare the expansion materials. Add-ons are available only to the original Buyer/Licensee with an active license for a corresponding boxed kit purchased from My Mystery Party.
Expansion Pack Requirements
- An eligible expansion pack must be available for your game.
- You must select the next expansion pack available for your existing kit.
- Expansion packs must be added in numerical order and cannot be skipped.
- Each expansion pack is prepared in full. We cannot divide a pack or prepare only selected characters.
- Review the applicable host character list before ordering to confirm that you want the included characters.
Host character lists are available in the Helpful Links section of the corresponding downloadable expansion-pack page or boxed-game product page.
Example: If you currently have the 15-player Murder at the Grand Gatsby boxed kit, you may add Expansion Pack #1 or Expansion Packs #1 and #2 together. You may not order Expansion Pack #2 without also adding Expansion Pack #1, as the gameplay will not be optimal.
Spoiler-Free Preparation
If you select the Spoiler-Free (Party-Ready) preparation, our staff will fold and insert your rounds one, two, and three cards into their envelopes. We will not seal them, however, in case you must look at them for any reason. Sealing before gameplay is optional.
Matching Your Envelope Colors
To help us coordinate the expansion materials with your existing Party Ready Pack, email a clear photograph of your current envelope colors to support@mymysteryparty.com after placing your order.
We will make every reasonable effort to match the original color palette, but an exact match cannot be guaranteed. Paper colors and availability may vary between production batches and paper mills.
If we do not receive a photograph from you within 48 hours, our staff will estimate the original color scheme using the date of your previous order. We will not contact you to request a photograph, and matching without one cannot be guaranteed.
Incorrectly Placed Orders
Incorrect or incomplete orders will be placed on hold while we attempt to contact you. If the issue is not resolved within 48 hours, the order will be canceled. If you still need the expansion materials, you will be responsible for placing a corrected order.
Examples of incorrectly placed orders include:
- Ordering an add-on without a corresponding My Mystery Party boxed-kit purchase and active game license
- Selecting an expansion pack that skips a required earlier pack
- Requesting that an expansion pack be divided or partially prepared
- Selecting an expansion pack that does not match the game or edition previously purchased
Please verify your original boxed kit, the next eligible expansion pack, the character count, and the host character list before completing your order. All host character lists for expansion packs are located on the game's main page, at the bottom. Check the character list and the gender ratio before ordering to ensure it's a match.
