Wine murder mystery expansion pack #3

This is expansion pack #3 for the Wine Tasting Murder Mystery Party, Fine Wine, Good Friends, and a Wicked Murder.  This is an instant download expansion pack including 8 additional characters (characters #25-32): 8 flex gender where gender is irrelevant. 6 of the 8 characters are required and must be played together and 2 are optional. See the host character list for more details. There is also an expandable team with this pack, where you can add up to 25+ non-suspect, duplicate wine-tasters to play with Corky Tannins from this pack (character #31). Corky becomes the 12th required player in the game if you use all required players (5 from the main game and 6 from this pack).  You'll receive an optional file with this purchase that you can download and make a copy of for each team member.

Instructions: This pack contains all the materials for characters #25-32 to play the game (i.e., name tags, pre-game and rounds 1-3 cards). This document should be printed in addition to the original Wine Murder Mystery main game and expansion pack #1 and #2 (all purchased separately). Print an investigation sheet from the main game printable file for each player you play from this pack, as well as more wine-tasting score cards from the main game files. Like the main game printable file, you'll need Adobe Reader software to view and print this file (it's standard software and free at Adobe.com). 

This pack is flexible with how to use it:

• Play all 8 characters (#25-32)
• Only play the 6 required characters from this pack (#25-30)
• Only play 1-2 optional players (#31-32).
• Only play the optional players (#31-32) with up to 25+ players on the optional, expandable team with *Corky Tannins and skip the required players #25-32.  
• Play all 8 players (#25-32) and the optional team with *Corky Tannins. 

*Adding the team makes Corky Tannins a required player.

You can use the optional players from this pack in any combination and number with optional players from other packs (purchased separately).

Host a large party with this theme:  

 All packs purchased separately. 

 -       Main game: 8 suspects

 -       Expansion pack #1: 8 suspects

 -       Expansion pack #3: 8 suspects

•   Expandable team of 25+ non-suspect, duplicated wine-tasters (comes with expansion pack #3) 

 Total: 32 suspects and 25+ non-suspect team members = 57+ players.  

 Note: you can add more to the expandable team, but more than 32 is not advised.  

Expandable team: Character #31, Corky Tannins, can be a team leader of a group of wine-tasting advisors, aka Corky’s employees. This is optional, however. The team can be skipped altogether. However, if you have more than 32 players, you can add up to 25+ team members with Corky Tannins as their leader. These players will be Corky Tannin’s staff – they are all advisors to Corky, a wine critic, and are wine tasters. These are duplicated, non-suspect roles that play as a team with Corky. They have all the same materials as the rest of the players, however. This is an excellent way to incorporate more players into your game and give them a role instead of just having them as spectators. This allows you to host a large group game without having too many suspects to investigate in round two. There is an additional file on your order for this pack for this team file. Print as many copies of this file as you will have players on the team. Also, print an investigation sheet from the main game’s printable file for each player. 

Play expansion packs in order: It is optimal (not mandatory) to play the expansion packs in order of occurrence, as the characters are added to the character lists on both the free invitation and player pre-game site at Your Mystery Party. If you skip expansion packs #1 &/or #2, you'll have the characters from those packs on your lists on the invitation and pre-game site that come with this expansion pack #3. Albeit, the players will forget about any characters they read about before the game that aren't being played once the game begins and excitement takes over.  But do not assign characters from packs you've not purchased. We instruct you to use the host character lists from the purchased packs to assign players - never use the pre-game site or invitation. 

Presenting order in round three: With this theme, players #1-24 read aloud in round three in front of the group but players #25-32 do not present solutions in front of the group - even the required players in this pack. You'll host a mingling session for them to share their solutions/final thoughts after the murderer and thief confess. This is a great time for you to prepare the optional award ceremony or set up for a final bonus game. 

Note: There are no refunds on downloadable items, including expansion packs. You can purchase this pack separately from the main game. Do not purchase this expansion pack unless you are certain you need it and have enough players. If you accidentally assign expansion pack #1 or #2 players but did not purchase those packs, we will not give you an expansion pack for free - you'll need to purchase it if you need those materials. That is why we tell you to only use the host character lists from the packs you've purchased to assign your characters - do not use the pre-game site or the invitation.
