    An Honest Review

Posted by Jay on May 20th 2020

This game was fantastic! Start-up was a breeze and the directions were pretty easy to follow. My group and I were first time players, with me as a first time host. I was a bit lost in the beginning and there were somethings that I missed but I was able to back track to those missed items without the group knowing! The mystery itself was challenging, especially the puzzles. Tips: If you are the host, make sure you read and understand the directions before the start of the game for a smooth and seamless experience. For players, make sure you use you familiarize yourself with your character as well as the other characters playing in the game. It will help you tremendously! Thanks My Mystery Party for creating a fun and challenging experience!

    Fun Time Together

Posted by Kerri Tapp on May 6th 2020

The '20's mob game was lots of fun to get into. We played it with family that is spread out across the country and then again with the students in my theatre arts class. There is a TON of information for the host but I failed to deliver some of the instructions the first time we played which led to some of the characters did not giving every detail of their information. We did much better in the 2nd time through. The family and my class had fun getting together and we had many participants who were in costume, using props and listening to 20's jazz music in the background. This was fun and I would recommend.

    Best virtual game so far!!

Posted by Desi on May 5th 2020

This roaring 20s mob themed virtual game was a serious blast! Apparently just about every American has the makings of a mobster or flapper costume in their home for some reason so everyone was dressed for the era. Some of us used virtual backgrounds and it really helped to get into the game, along with the great wiseguy accents and lingo. So much fun!

Fun activity to get us through quarantine

Posted by Taylor on May 1st 2020

My friends and I have tried coming up with fun reasons to Zoom, Facetime, etc. and this has been the best. Being a host was easy, we used Zoom (with paid subscription), several of us dressed up a bit. It took about 2 hours total (including breaks for making drinks). There was a perfect amount of information to be helpful without being long or boring. There were 7 of us I believe, which was a great number. We had two couples in the mix, both of which took their devices and went in separate rooms for more fun. This was a beta version, but we found no glitches or issues.

Good Time for a video chat evening!

Posted by Sarah C on Apr 30th 2020

We played with 8 of the 10 characters with nothing missing by not having the other 2. All of my guests had a great time! This was our first one but we will be doing others in the future. The host needs to plan to have an hour or two prior to the start to get all of the documents for themselves read and characters distributed.

Good time for a Murder Mystery get together

Posted by Jonathan K on Apr 27th 2020

We played the game with 11 people. I decided to just play as host since I have played previous mystery games in the past. Everyone got into their character and we had fun evening with good banter between the characters. I liked the fact the the murderer did not know it was them so everyone could participate until the end. Out of the 10 only 1 figured out the correct murderer. Good job in keeping them guessing. Everyone wants to play another one so will be coming back soon.
