So much fun!
First off, before even purchasing this game I had a lot of questions about which game to purchase for our first time playing MM, and the responses were quick and very helpful! I was so grateful as I wanted the night to be as much fun as possible for my husband’s birthday during covid. Let me say, that the feedback after the game was great! “best night of my life”, “I haven’t laughed so much in awhile”, “can we make the pregame a week longer?” Haha it was so much fun! Our group is very engaged and embraced the characters wholeheartedly! The pre-game was a lot of fun, as we sent the group videos of our character, we improvised on the messages, etc... The actual night of the MM was also a lot of fun! I would say that the host needs to be very familiar with the sequence of events to make sure everything flows easily, as it can sort of dampen the atmosphere if you can’t open files or are struggling. No one guessed the murderer, but we all had a few cocktails and were enjoying the game in general! A week later and we are still referencing the game and the characters. Looking forward to the next!

Wonderful Virtual Murder Mystery Party!
I hosted a virtual Zoom party for 12 young adults with "A Night of Creeps, Haunts, and Murder" and everyone had a blast, including myself! Since this was my first time hosting and the first time any of the participants were playing a murder mystery game, I decided not to take part in the actual game itself but focus on logistics and making sure the game proceeded smoothly. The materials were great, the instructions for the host were clear, the character bios/scripts were well-written, the puzzles were constructed well, and the videos included with the package (for introducing the game, providing the solutions, etc.) were a nice touch. I had a question about the game and my email query was answered very promptly - I appreciated the quick customer service. Some specific comments: (i) I think the game worked especially well with our group because the people participating have been friends for a long time. Everyone got into character and had no trouble delivering dialogues or questioning one another. (ii) The puzzles were relatively easy for this group to solve, but to be fair, the game was advertised as moderate difficulty. (iii) There was some confusion among the group as to whether they had "secrets" or not. This was of reasonable importance in solving the murder and it confused the players when folks who technically didn't have secrets revealed some "secret", which was just part of their character bio and not really a "secret". So a note to the game makers: It would be nice to have a clearly labeled "SECRETS" section in the script. For characters who don't have a secret, have a sentence in that section that says something along the lines of "You don't have a secret to share" or "When asked if you have a secret to share, say no." Our group ultimately solved the murder correctly in spite of this confusion. (iv) The group really liked the fact that there were cooperative aspects to the game. All in all, this was an excellent purchase and provided 3 hours of great fun! I bought another murder mystery from a different company and it was nowhere as rich in content as this one was. I would definitely buy another game from this company!

Sinister themes, Secrets, and Red Herrings!
This is the 4th Mystery Party game my friends and I have played together using Zoom. We selected this game to play on Halloween, and we're about to purchase the Holiday- themed one to play in December! I have loved everything we've played so far. Until now, Who Whacked the Mole was our favorite, but Creeps, Haunts and Murder was even better! This was something like "Clue," a traditional manor house mystery, but with all kinds of paranormal themes! The characters were quirky and delightful. This was just a great, fun story line and a joy to play! We loved that just about every character unveiled a hilarious secret in the 2nd part. We also roared with laughter reading the alternate endings for our characters! My little murder mystery group highly recommends this one!

Memorable Halloween Experience
We had a great night playing Creeps, Haunts and Murder! The instant downloads had everything needed to host successfully. I was even able to play along without knowing the killer until the end. You can play as whatever character you want. Some of the feedback I got from my guests was that they liked how they broke it down to discover the killer. The puzzles were great and the charatcer bios were so fun! I think having a separate device or print out of your character sheets is a MUST to really enjoy your experience. Also, its my personal opinion that it would be okay to let the guests read their character bios in Round 1 before the party starts. We all would have liked to be more familiar with our character as we asked questions and kept having to reread the bios a few times. Just stop before the maps and grim puzzles. :) ___________________________________________ FROM MMP STAFF: Thank you for your feedback! We are glad you guys had a blast! The host instructions do allow & encourage the players to read their character bios before the game. They just stop in the packets before they get to the round one materials. Also, if they view the pre-game site, they are given expanded bios and the opportunity to learn a bunch about each character before the game. We highly suggest taking advantage of the pre-game site. Again, thank you! We appreciate you!

So fun for office Halloween virtual gettogether
So fun. We needed a new Halloween outlet since we are still remote. This was super fun. It was a good bit of instructions. But made total sense once you read over twice. The challenges were harder than I thought! Videos were great and the right amount of cheesy! 8 of us and we had lots of fun and even dressed up! Pregame was fun too. I'd recommend to get in character!

A night of creeps, haunts and murder
We played the mystery via zoom between 10 family members in 6 different households. Most of us had paired up to cover the primary characters and one person took the role of one of the secondary characters. We had a blast! Everyone was prepared and really got into their characters, including costumes. Everyone also got into the pre-game portion, which went on all day prior to the evening when we played game. We got so involved in the game that after 2.5 hours we ran out of time to do the alternate endings. Everyone liked the fact that no one knew who the murderer was. We definitely plan doing another one in the near future and we highly recommend it.

Super Fun, Immersive Game
We played as part of a "together, apart" team building event and had a blast playing! Everyone got really into it. We learned a member of our team can do a wicked Jersey accent! The puzzles were challenging, but not impossible. You really needed to work as a team to figure them out. No one was able to do all of them by themselves, which was cool. Getting started was a little confusing, but I think that'd be inherent in any game the first time around. The primary storyline is tight; some of the secondary ones felt like they really came out of left field, but were hilarious because of that when they were revealed! You really do need at least two screens to play though. One to see everyone and one to view the player packets or host packet and any side chatting you need/want to do. If you don't have multi-screens or devices, would definitely recommend printing things out.

Excellent Product / Well planned
We loved this murder mystery party pack. The mix of visual and printed materials was great. The time allotment was accurate. As the host, I loved having the checklist and timeline that were included. Only negative is that we wanted to play again! But this pack was a once and done. Be prepared with printer ink as each player has a packet of materials 14 pages long. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From MMP Staff: For the virtual games - no printing is needed. If your players have access to two devices - one for viewing the PDF and the other for the video chat (i.e. Zoom) - they do not need to print anything. Most people use a phone or iPad to view and their laptop or PC to video chat. We are so glad you had a blast!
