Murder Mystery Synopsis:

The House of Groove Discotheque is hosting the annual Disco Fever Competition. You can't wait to jump into your best disco threads and win over the judges with your smooth moves.

But unfortunately, not all is going as planned. Dance duos have been in turmoil, contestants have been feuding, and scandals have caught the public's attention. Nevertheless, the club management hopes that the participant list will keep growing. So you have fingers and toes crossed that this drama doesn't interfere with your chance to shake your groove thing on the dance floor. You'll be there because you're no square. This is where your story begins.

    Fun Time

Posted by Unknown on Apr 13th 2021

I was skeptical after reading a couple character clues but I did this party with 20 people (bought the expansion pack also) and absolutely everyone had a great time. I had to make my own invites because the ones included did not match my aesthetic but the story overall was fun. This was our first time doing a murder mystery party and we took about a month to prepare..

    Such a great time

We had a great time doing this mystery. It was the first one we have ever done. I printed it out and thought oh my.....will I understand what to do? But it was very self explanatory and laid out great! It won’t be out last

    So much Fun!

Posted by Pfiesty Lil'One on Jan 13th 2020

My guests really enjoyed this event and I am super excited to try another one. The pre party conversations did not work out for us, I apparently had some shy people involved, but it did not hinder the game play and I just had them do the pre party conversations while we waited on everyone to arrive. With the living room decorated as the discotheque and a banner on the front patio announcing the name and the slogan "where the music is killer" my guests really got a chuckle. I am now ready to host another party with most of the first group wanting to attend and many others requesting an invite.

LOVED this! It was so fun! The characters all got into it and I thought the pre-party conversations were a great added touch! It really helped get everyone excited for it!

new years eve party at the disco

Posted by JUDY LAVOIE on Jan 5th 2020

We did this for New Years Eve and it worked so well! We set up out basement as House of Groove Discotheque and we had a disco ball, dance floor and all the lights and music from the 70's. The costumes were fabulous. The characters were great! The mystery went well... my only complaint was it was a little complicated and we had used all 14 characters... At the reveal, we only had 2 that guessed the murderer. This is the 1st murder mystery we have done. I would have liked it a little simpler and maybe the murderer should know he is the murderer in the second round instead of at the end....but overall it was a great time

    Sweet 16 birthday-Disco Mystery party

Posted by Wendy on Sep 18th 2019

Seems simple enough and all my daughters friends are thrilled to be invited to the murder mystery disco. We are requiring costumes. The kit comes with recipes for appetizers to serve and all included props are very nice. I think it’s well worth the price!

    We LOVE My Mystery Party!!!

Posted by MMP's Biggest Fans on Aug 16th 2019

My young adult daughters hosted a party and played Panic at the Disco. (They had previously hosted parties and played Ravenwood Masquerade Murder Mystery, Murder at the Grand Gatsby, and East Side Story.) Just like the three parties before, everyone had a great time! We had a disco ball and two multi-colored, spinning light bulbs (that worked so much better than the colored light set that we tested out beforehand). They played bonus games and gave prizes to the best guy costume, best girl costume, first person to correctly guess whudunnit (first person who turns in their investigation sheet with the right answer), and best dance group to each member of the dance group for the bonus dance game. Adding the dancing has definitely taken our murder mystery parties to the next level! I love hearing all the laughter. I recommend hosts use a mic when making announcements and guests use a mic when making accusations.
