    So pleased with the game!

It was my first time hosting (or attending) a murder mystery party and it worked out great! We had 16 work colleagues and most of them had not been to one of these before. I bought all the props needed ahead of time so I wasn't reliant on people remembering, but next time I would give out the roles ahead of time and have people get more familiar with their characters. Everyone (age 30-60) had a great time and we were all surprised to find out who the killer was!

    Fun Evening

This is my fourth year hosting a murder mystery party. Many of my guests have been to all of the events but I also had a handful of new people who had never played before. Everyone had a great time. The only confusion my guests had with this particular game was how to dress. The pre game tasks explained what props guests should bring but did suggest how to come dressed at the party as these characters were supposed to stay somewhat hidden. Make sure to send out to each guest their pre game card as well as their character description and explain to avoid confusion. The twists involved with this game kept everyone on their toes, especially my seasoned guests and was as always a lot of fun!!

    Murder Behind The Mirror

This was my first murder mystery party and it won’t be my last! I had 28 guests, this game was perfect and a lot of fun for everyone. I was hesitant to host a murder mystery but, was very surprised how many people wanted to be part of it. This game had some “pre-game” activities that are optional. My guests absolutely loved that part of the game. With a group this large the game took about 4 hours. But, time flew by. The only thing I did different then what the game recommend was the optional “bonus” games. The game reccomended pairing people up. I did two bonus games and had 2 groups of 4 compete with each other. I almost didn’t do the bonus games but, was very glad I did. Most of the guests mentioned it as a highlight of the night. My Mystery Party was very good to work with. They answered questions promptly and even though I made mistakes in the items I purchased they worked with me in getting in corrected. I ordered the pre-printed version of the game and was very happy with it.
