Murder Mystery Synopsis:
It's the height of Prohibition in 1920s Chicago, and a mob war's brewing between the South Side Gangsters and the Northern Chicago Mob Outfit. The two ruthless crime leaders, Hal Sapone and Beanie O'Dannon, have finally agreed on bootlegging practices in Chicago and have decided to pull together resources for a collaborative effort with criminal endeavors.
On the surface, this strategy is similar to bailing out a sinking ship with tin cups.
Recently, gangsters from the north and south have been spotted together at various speakeasies throughout Chicago, but the tension in the air is always thick enough to be cut with a knife. However, this newfound relationship between the opposing mob bosses has served, thus far, to inhibit gratuitous bloodshed as in the past. Part of the success of this truce is that both crime bosses have found new dames, thereby intertwining more mutual relationships between the two factions.
The two gangs have set an official date to meet at Hal Sapone's Grand Gatsby Speakeasy to resolve all remaining differences. Will these two underground organizations resolve their disputes, or will a massive melee rekindle the fatal flames between them?
This is where your story begins.

Best party I’ve ever had!
We had a blast with this murder mystery! The costumes were great and everyone really got into their characters, which was not expected. I did a buffet style dinner broke into three rounds but everyone was enjoying the game and the drinks so much that they barely ate! Everyone is asking when the next one will be. I guess it’s time to start planning!

Great fun!
I hosted this for my birthday this year. We decorated the house and even made marquee letters the said "the grand gatsby", it was quite the centerpiece. Everyone had a ton of fun and got to know each other. I was worried about it being awkward between people who didn't know each other, but it never was. All the instructions were clear and I was never confused about what needed to happen next. We are already talking about planning another!

Can't wait to do it again!
We had the most fun with this party! It is well put together! My friends were all laughing and having fun! They really got into character! Everyone came dressed and ready to play! I didn't want to know what was going on so I had someone else put it together. (I now recommend purchasing the one that comes out together just because of time and purchasing paper and ink it's about the same) She said it was easy to put together tho! I was really nervous how the evening would flow but it was great! Another review recommended splitting up the couples so I did and it was PERFECT! The story lines are AMAZING! I LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT! I can't wait to do it again!

Best New Year's Party
I got the Murder at the Grand Gatsby kit for my mother's birthday on New Year's Eve. Everyone got really into their characters and costumes. We had 20's decorations, drinks, and food. Having it in the basement gave it that speakeasy vibe. Everyone is still raving over how much fun it was that I keep getting asked to do it again. I highly recommend this kit!

It was a party people will be talking about for weeks!
I threw this party as a NYE party. I’ve been wanting to do a MM party for years and it was a massive success! We had about 40+ people from all different circles playing (we bought 2 expansion packs!) and everyone was mingling and meeting new people to solve the mystery. I totally recommend splitting up all the couples, it made it so fun! All through the night people were raving about how much fun they had and couldn’t wait for the next party! Can’t wait to do another one myself!!
