Murder Mystery Synopsis:

It's the height of Prohibition in 1920s Chicago, and a mob war's brewing between the South Side Gangsters and the Northern Chicago Mob Outfit. The two ruthless crime leaders, Hal Sapone and Beanie O'Dannon, have finally agreed on bootlegging practices in Chicago and have decided to pull together resources for a collaborative effort with criminal endeavors.
On the surface, this strategy is similar to bailing out a sinking ship with tin cups.
Recently, gangsters from the north and south have been spotted together at various speakeasies throughout Chicago, but the tension in the air is always thick enough to be cut with a knife. However, this newfound relationship between the opposing mob bosses has served, thus far, to inhibit gratuitous bloodshed as in the past. Part of the success of this truce is that both crime bosses have found new dames, thereby intertwining more mutual relationships between the two factions.
The two gangs have set an official date to meet at Hal Sapone's Grand Gatsby Speakeasy to resolve all remaining differences. Will these two underground organizations resolve their disputes, or will a massive melee rekindle the fatal flames between them?
This is where your story begins.

This was a great party. Lots of laughs but with a swanky vibe. Would definitely do this again.

    Murder Mystery

I felt like it was a little chaotic being the host and being a character in the game, but ultimately everyone had the best time and I would definitely recommend this to anyone! We will certainly be doing it again!

    Great time

We did this for our daughter’s 18th Birthday party. It was last minute because the other plan fell through. The instructions were simple and even though we purchased it the night before and it was our first time doing something like this everything went perfectly. It was a blast. All 23 kids got really involved. My daughter said it was here best birthday party ever.

A great first murder mystery party

Posted by Earnestine Rich on Mar 30th 2023

We had an absolute blast! We used this for the welcome party for our wedding weekend with about 24 people. It was perfect for getting everyone to mingle, family and friends really got into character and the bonus challenge, and all weekend we could reference funny moments from the first day to continue on with the fun. This was our first time playing a murder mystery party and everything you need to host is in the host instructions, videos, or FAQs to make everything run seamlessly and customer service answers very quickly if you think you still need information. We are all talking about doing another one and I would 100% recommend my mystery party.

So fun, and easy to follow!

I got this package for my boyfriend’s 28th birthday party. He said he wanted a murder mystery theme, however, we had never done one before (let alone hosted one). I hosted the event, and chose not to do any of the characters so I could make sure everything ran smoothly. All of our friends are performers, and they COMMITTED! I was so thankful for the reviews for the packages, and if you’re hesitant about purchasing, take my word for it- it’s worth it! We will absolutely be purchasing more for the fun of it!

    Grand Gatspy

Everyone loved the 20s theme. I bought expansions packs 1 & 2, so that everyone could have a part. I made the mistake of giving myself a role, which I regretted. It was overwhelming to run the game with so many characters and play a main role. I was so busy that I didn’t really even get to visit with anyone. If you have a large party, make sure to just be the host/hostess. Otherwise, it was a great party.
