Mystery Synopsis:

It is 1985, and after losing market share to sweeter competitors, Koko-Cola has revised its classic formulation and named the new beverage Best Cola. The CEO, Martin McFly, is hosting a huge bash to celebrate the release and has invited the Who’s Who of the entertainment industry to attend the party. With so many Yes Men fluttering around Mr. McFly, he’s blinded to the reality that he is one of the most dreadful men in the world. He’s stolen ideas, broken hearts, slashed egos, and even kidnapped the beloved pets of foes when it suited him.

Alas, you are one of the ‘80s icons that received an exclusive invitation to this event. Mr. McFly has wronged you in the past but needs your fame to help launch Best Cola. It should be interesting how this all plays out. This is where your story begins.

YOU WILL RECEIVE:

    Great product

A bit tougher than some of the others, but some great characters to get into and definitely possible to solve if you pay close attention to all the evidence.

    Really enjoyed this game

Posted by Carly on Jun 6th 2020

This was my first time attending or hosting a murder mystery so I was a little nervous! On top of it, I had all 16 characters but one of the main characters dropped out 1 hour before! I managed to switch a non-essential character to the missing main character last minute and after that everything rolled out smoothly. We had no issues doing this over zoom but I would say that the host needs to be savvy with Zoom as there is a lot of screen/audio share exc. Everyone really got into character and really enjoyed it! only 2 people guessed who the murderer was but perhaps we were having too much fun to really think too hard about the evidence! , I would defo do this again, thanks

    Amazing night with friends

Definitely a great night. Well thought out characters and storyline. We were all engaged all night and definitely felt like a night together while being socially distant.

    A fun 30th birthday surprise

Posted by Alison on May 27th 2020

We had a really fun night celebrating my husband's birthday virtually. There were 10 of us in total and we had such a giggle. The resources were fantastic - including the videos and character information. We were all a bit self-conscious at first, but soon embraced our characters and had such a fun time.!

    Fun night in!

Loved this. Well prepared from the pre-game tasks to the script and PDF evidence files. Ran very smoothly on Zoom. Agree with top tips for everyone to change their screen name to their character. Everyone really got into character including accents which meant lots of laughs. We didn’t take the crime solving tasks too seriously (had a few drinks by that point!) so only one out of ten of us guessed the murder correctly (on a whim!) but there is definitely a decent amount of clues available if you want to really get into it. Highly recommend.

    Fun for adult birthday party

This was very easy to host and play. No one guessed the correct murderer. Each round started by watching a video and was very easy to host via zoom.

    Super Fun virtual meeting

Posted by Laura Prchal on May 22nd 2020

This game was so fun! I was lucky enough to stumble across this as an option for my 40th birthday party under quarantine. I invited folks via zoom meeting. What an amazing opportunity to invite people from different time zones and countries to play! I love how the game was scripted so that I could host and play. Each round started off with a video and that really helped to set the mood and keep everyone in character. I would recommend everyone try to dress up a little. It really does enhance the experience and help you keep the characters straight having the visual. It is sometimes confusing to know when to speak and share your information. Sometimes we had to call out folks because they just weren't sure when to speak up. Otherwise this was so much fun, we've been talking about it for 5 days now. The 1985 theme and characters was so fun! It was a nice walk down memory lane. Very creatively put together. I would recommend this game to folks who would appreciate the 80s theme. It may be challenging for younger folks as they may not get a lot of the social references.

    Super Fun Time

Posted by Unknown on May 19th 2020

We have done almost all of the murder mysteries that are available virtually. This one was our favorite! Perhaps it’s because we are all 80s kids but this was amazing! We liked the video messages and it helps with the flow! I wish I was an octopus so I could give this 8 thumbs up instead of 2!
