Mullets & Mayhem: Murder Mystery Party Game

I’ve used this company for three years and this kit was definitely the most fun. We all wore wigs and spoke in southern accents and we were cracking up the whole night! I loved the different puzzles throughout the game and it was the perfect level of challenging for my group. We are all in our mid twenties and experienced players and I think half of us figured it out. Definitely recommend this one for a fun night of shenanigans!

This was my second kit purchase and it was exactly what I wanted for my summer murder mystery party. As always the kit materials are thorough and easy to use. Customer service is also super helpful every time I need them.

This party was riot!! This was the first mm we have hosted (we have attended others), and it went very smoothly. We actually ran through it twice. Once with adult couples, and a second time for our daughter’s high school dance date. Both times everyone was laughing, and having a great time. Not hard to solve, but kept us interested. Not everyone guessed it. Also, I would definitely recommend the optional spam carving activity. After the kids got over their gag reflex of smelling the spam, they really got into making a masterpiece!!! It was pretty entertaining to watch!

We have a larger group (20+) vacation between Christmas and new years and were looking for something fun for new years eve. This was absolutely great. Nive change from getting all glamed up and everyone had a blast.

The cast list was truly hilarious. We all had so much fun and enjoyed the banter. Everybody truly captured their characters and especially enjoyed the ending explanations at the microphone. Had a lot of fun decorating for this.

I have hosted several of these MMP parties with some teacher friends, and they chose the theme of this one. They have absolutely loved each one, and this one does not diappoint. My friends and I fit the profile of the characters in this particular mystery perfectly, and...well... had most of the props already! We played cornhole, beer pong, and created a remarkable playlist. We even had a station where we shot tin cans with a BB gun. The mystery itself is well thought out, and only one of us solved it perfectly. She did love earning the plastic medal for the medal ceremony. The puzzle games are perfect because I failed to make multiple copies (barely looked at the packet prior to the party day) and it worked out because people who cared a lot worked on it and people who would rather shoot at cans could do that. As always, at the end of the evening, people are shouting about when the next mystery party will be.

Every single moment of this murder mystery was absolutely fantastic!!!

If you are questioning whether the cost is worth it. It is and then some. For three hours my friends and I, half of which are engineers, stayed pleasantly engaged and intrigued throughout the entire 3 hours it took us.

Fun game. My guests had a good time. I do think it is better when the victim does not turn into a ghost but gets to play another character. That is more fun for them in my experience.

We played with the expansion, with roughly 21 guests. Most in their late twenties and early thirties. Had an absolute blast. Laughed the entire night! Getting everyone excited to dress up and act like their character was a huge part of what made the night so fun! It probably took about 3 hours. Only a few guests were able to accurately guess the murderer but it wasn’t overly difficult. Adding fun food and decorations can really add to the scene as well. Content was all clean for the most part. A few names are a little iffy if you’re looking for a completely clean game, but all in all; we loved it!

I was looking for a trailer trash themed murder mystery and Mullets just came out. This was so fun and my guests loved it! We enjoyed the challenge and extra content that comes with it. Because it is a "trashy theme" it makes it more fun and our guests really got into character. The level of this game was challenging, but the theme is worth it!

This murder mystery was fun. We had a good time with a few of the characters costumes and quirks. It was one of the easiest to solve that we've ever done. This was our family's 4th murder mystery party. It was fine, but not as fun as some of the others we've done in the past.

We did this party with a group of 10 high school seniors. They all had an amazing time. The characters were light-hearted and fun and they all enjoyed the funny back stories. The level of difficulty was perfect and a few of them were able to figure out the solution. This game has no scripts, but each character has suggested clues on things they should reveal each round. The videos and other materials are clever and add to the party. I highly recommend buying the printed materials which all come on nice paper and look professional.
