A masquerade ball murder mystery party game for a minimum of 8 players, ages 14 and up due to difficulty. There are various kit sizes available in the drop-down box above. This game can cover up to 200+ players with the larger kits. 

Spoil yourself, and choose the spoiler-free option above, and our staff will fold and slip your clue cards for rounds one, two, and three into the envelopes to prevent you from seeing spoilers on the round cards. Without the spoiler-free option selected, you will have some assembly required with your kit and there will be spoilers upon opening the kit and viewing the rounds 2 and 3 clue cards. 

The download version is a different product and does not come with the party pack, as they are not seamless and materials should not be used together.

Murder Mystery Party Synopsis:

Bloodworth Falls is an isolated town plagued with scandals. The townsfolk bicker in the streets, and many believe the local government is corrupt. Nevertheless, the mayor is hosting a mysterious masquerade ball in the old Bloodwood Castle. The tickets to the event have sold out in record time. The townspeople are curious to discover why the mayor would put effort into doing something positive in this hopeless town of gloom. Anticipation for the event hangs thickly in the air, and many are already hunting for the perfect mask.
You are worried about what will happen when toxic people come together this night. You are alarmed, as you didn't purchase your ticket - somebody placed it in your mailbox in an unmarked envelope. Somebody wants you there, but you're unsure why. This is where your story begins.

Host a Large Group Murder Mystery Party:

  • A: 8-18 players is the main game
  • B: 8-24 players is the main game and expansion pack#1
  • C: 8-32 players is the main game, expansion pack #1 and the first 8 on expansion pack #2
  • D: 8-40 players is the main game, expansion packs 1-2
  • E-J: 8-40 unique players and duplicate players of various sizes - see below.

The duplicate team players will be a combination of the following:

  • Up to 20+ duplicate Magician's Assistants led by Lou Violet, Expansion Pack #1.
  • Up to 20+ duplicate Makeup Artists led by Izzy Maroon, Expansion Pack #1.
  • Up to 20+ duplicate Production Assistants led by Cass Chocolate, Expansion Pack #1.
  • Up to 20+ duplicate Entourage Members led by Bruno Ivory, Expansion Pack #1.
  • Up to 20+ duplicate Mobsters led by Maria Lime, Expansion Pack #1.
  • Up to 20+ duplicate John/Jane Doe characters, Expansion Pack #1.

This game accommodates 40 unique players by using both expansion packs and an additional yet optional ability to expand to over ~200 guests by using teams (duplicate players) with expansion pack #1.     Ordered this for my daughter's sweet 16 in august. But after reading through the kit( I ordered the box one.) this is going to be so much fun. they give you everything you need and the details are not as difficult as I had thought they would be.

    This was my first time hosting a party like this. I am so incredibly happy with the kit and will definitely be hosting more parties in the future.     We hosted a murder mystery party for my birthday last year! I have never had so much fun! I have to admit I was nervous at first but by the 2nd round everyone got into it. We all had a blast. It is going to be a new tradition that we do every year!

    I purchased this game for my 30th birthday celebration and it was perfect! We probably had too many people (35) but the game came all packed in envelopes so as the host we were able to play the game too! So fun and easy to play!

    I was very pleased with the quality of the items I received in my pre-packaged murder mystery party pack. I just wish there were some 'save the date' cards to send to my invitees.

    I was pleasantly surprised on the quality of the kit! The instructions are very detailed, but simple. The invites and envelopes are really really nice. Great quality paper used! Everything is packaged according to the rounds of the game. I also ordered the certificate awards. Worth the purchase!

    9 people did this for New Year's Eve party A lot of fun. Costumes were not too crazy. Some people did over the top costumes and some were minimal. It all worked. Good story line and we added a few mini games to mix things up. Fun
