Haunted Hotel mystery party | Boxed Kit

Challenging haunted hotel themed for 7-10 players, ages 16+ for horror content. Host this party if you are up for loads of terrifying plot lines, deceit, scandal and murder! This game can be played as co-ed, all male or all female and has two victims - one main story to sleuth and a second, which is a quick sleuth. This game has a difficulty of 8/10 - Sherlock level. Not for novices!

A 5 player expansion pack #1 and a 10 player expansion pack #2 is available (expansion packs should be played in order to be optimal. so they are added accordingly on the party ready pack.)

Select the party ready option above, and our staff will fold and slip the clue cards for rounds one, two, and three into the envelopes to prevent you from seeing spoilers on the round cards. If you do not select this option, you will have some assembly required with your kit.

Content: as the other games on this site, this game does not contain foul language, sexual innuendos or drug references - however- it does contain plot lines in the horror genre dealing with ghosts, the supernatural, serial killers, disposal of bodies, and evil dolls. That is the reason for the 16+ rating. So, if you are ready for a night where you can spook the heck out of your friends and have a great time - this game is for you!

Mystery Synopsis:

Since 1864—The Bateman Hotel. A place where guests can relax and conjure the days of refined luxury, romantic evenings and glittering nights. The new owner is hosting a soiree in honor of the anniversary of the hotel’s reopening a year ago. If you decide to make a reservation for an overnight stay after the party, there are a few guest rooms to avoid due to reports of ill-spirited apparitions, steamy pockets of strange mist causing feelings of dread, sudden drops of temperature, and terrifying voices that echo in the corridors during the wee hours of the morning. Other than that, the old hotel is once again becoming the place to be in the town of Wraith’s Cove. The infamous Quinn Bloom is on the VIP guest list and will bring a rare doll collection to the hotel - but don't let the dolls bother you - the rumors about them may not even be true. You wouldn’t miss this party for the world. This is where your story begins.
