A Hawaiian Luau Murder Mystery Party for 6-10 guests, ages 14+ due to difficulty. This is an in-person, face-to-face traditional format. For any beach or swimming pool setting. With the two expansion packs (both purchased separately), there are 24 unique players. The main game and expansion packs allow the game to expand to over 50 players by using the duplicate, expandable players (see the breakdown below)! This is the instant download version of the game. Murder Mystery Synopsis:
The Oceanside Palace Hotel of Maui was hosting their nightly luau on Sunset Beach. Exciting Polynesian spirit filled the air as the guests were greeted with festive Hawaiian leis. Everybody mingled while enjoying delicious appetizers. The celebration kicked off with fun party games, but it became apparent that some guests didn’t get along and others were hiding scandalous secrets. The party forged on with a delicious Hawaiian dinner while the guests enjoyed a fun challenge. With stuffed bellies, the luau party-goers gossiped and laughed, and to everyone’s horror, a dead body was discovered! The guests rallied together and underwent a thorough investigation including a fiber analysis provided by the local police department.
Taking short breaks to relieve the stress of the investigation, they engaged in more exciting party games. They took turns accusing the suspects they believed were guilty, and everyone came clean with their involvement in the crime. Backed into a corner, the murderer confessed! After a brave escape attempt by the killer, the guests enjoyed a delectable dessert and reflected on the evening’s exciting events! It was a luau that the guests will remember forever!

Fun and Different
We wanted something fun to do for our adult twins' birthday during quarantine, and this was really memorable! We chose a mystery for a small group and everyone had a blast dressing up and getting into character. We can't wait to do another one for a larger group when quarantine is over!

Loved it!
The game was a ton of fun to be had by all. Festive costumes made for great laughs, the mystery was a challenge to us, as we'd never done one before. Great job on this game - will play another.

This was my 4th party I've tried and was easy to follow and easy for people who are beginners to succeed.

Really Amazing
We had the best time. This was so well done, as the host I could still participate. Full of surprises. Out of 6 guests, 3 were very shy/quiet so these cards that get distributed at each round were PERFECT because it told them exactly what they should mention. We of course were nervous so rushed Round 1 (which the instructions told us not too) but it still worked great because each round gave you the perfect amount of clues. I HIGHLY recommend this company because this was a great set up. The Luau was super fun and we will definitely be doing another party with a new pack from this company.

So well-written everyone could participate!
We've been to other murder mysteries where either you were given a detailed character bio but we're on your own to come up with questions or the entire thing was scripted. My Mystery Party is the perfect balance...with an absolutely perfect dose of laughter added. The quiet folks felt they could participate and have fun, never pushed to the sidelines, yet not made to feel uncomfortable. And the outgoing guests had a blast watching their characters evolve. In the end, the storylines were hysterical and so well thought out. Our 26 guests had the best time, and they've all asked when the next party will be.

Tons of fun!!
While on vacation at the beach last week I ordered the Maui murder mystery pack and extension pack for our family. The pack included everything we needed to have an awesome murder mystery dinner, plus lots of extras. Very well put together and easy to follow instructions. We had a party of 20 ranging from 10-64 and everyone enjoyed it. So much fun and very entertaining!! Can’t wait to do another one.

A Killer Birthday Party
We did the Murder in Maui for my birthday party and had a great time! We're all 30-somethings and it was great to see the group dress their parts and really get into character. The cards/directions were easy to follow, especially since none of us had ever done a murder mystery before. At the end of the party we were all joking that we wanted to do one every weekend! Everyone had a GREAT time!
