This is expansion pack #1 of the Gravestone Wild West mystery party game. This is not a stand alone game, this is an expansion pack with materials for 8 suspect (optional) players (5F, 3M), which may be played in any combination or number with the main game's optional players. The main game is purchased separately.
Do not skip expansion pack #1 - you must have this pack in the game before adding expansion pack #2

Expansion pack #2 - purchased separately. Play the expansion packs in order, as the characters are added to the character lists/pre-game site in order. If you skip expansion pack #1 and purchase expansion pack #2 - you will have unpurchased characters listed on your invitation, pre-game site, and you will not receive the replacement card for the required player in round three who has 'read first' to change the order of reading in round three. The reading order of round three is: Expansion pack #2 (if it's added) > Expansion pack #1 (if it's added) > Main game players. Always use the host character lists for the packs you have purchased to assign your players.

Needed it at last minute so being able to download and print was helpful. Had all the materials needed to add to basic kit.
Instructions were helpful as to how to integrate expansion with basic kit characters.

A blast. Literally.
We played this for a party of 15 for my husbands birthday. We did a facebook invite to assign characters and I was thrilled to see the effort everyone put into their costumes. The character roles really engaged everyone and the mystery aspect kept people intrigued and involved. There is so much that goes along with this theme for decorating and costumes and food that make it really easy to host as well. This was our second murder mystery party! The prep work is a thing but well worth it for the fun memories.

Wonderful time had by all!
This was our second Mystery Party experience. All 18 of us (age range from 15-80) had a grand time. I am amazed by how much effort our guests put into their costumes and developing their character. I did my part by transforming our home into a Wild West Saloon and serving up the kinda grub that would make a rancher grin - we even had s'mores! It's true that there is a lot of prep that goes into hosting a party like this, but it's so worth it. We will most likely be making this an annual event!

Great Event for Youth Group
I'm a Youth Pastor at a local church and I have a bunch of actors that attend my youth group. So I thought I would try out a Murder Mystery. We invited just the high school students and had about 15 people join us. We purchased the expansion to accommodate everyone. Below are the positives and negatives. Positives - Really easy to work through the evening (I have never done this before and it went very smoothly) - Really easy for teenagers to understand the point of each round. (I had one or two that struggled, but they weren't putting in much effort) - Easy instructions for set up. Negatives - It did take a while to divide clue's into envelopes, cut maps, and plan evening. But it was just me, and they offer to do it all for you for a fee. So just know you will have some work on your hands. (About 3 - 4 hours) Although it was my first time, next time I bet it goes much quicker. We plan on doing this again. I don't think I've heard that much laughter in a long time. What a great event.

More fun than expected
This was a great murder game. I got this and the expansion pack because we had 24 people and it really added to the fun of dressing up. Even though the expansion people weren't the main characters, they didn't know it. The scripts were written in a way where it could have been anyone in the whole group. A very fun time and I will recommend this to anyone who wants to host their own Murder mystery dinner. Instructions and very detailed scripts were very easy to follow and helped make this a night to remember. Thank you!
