Murder Mystery Party Game Synopsis:

The Montalban Hotel is a luxurious celebrity hotspot overlooking the sea in beautiful Los Cabos, Mexico. The exclusive five-star property caters to the rich and famous and regularly hosts some of the world’s most glamorous events. Everyone in Hollywood is buzzing about the hotel’s upcoming Cinco de Mayo celebration, and famous actors, recording artists, media personalities, and entertainment-industry power players are preparing to descend upon the resort.

Los Cabos Policia has promised to keep the paparazzi under control so the A-list guests can relax and enjoy an evening of glitzy indulgence, festive entertainment, chips and salsa, luxurious prizes, and extravagant piñatas. Unfortunately, the celebrity guest list is filled with enormous egos, bitter rivalries, scandalous histories, blackmail schemes, and carefully guarded secrets that could erupt beneath the Mexican sun.

When the exclusive fiesta takes a deadly turn, the surviving guests must investigate the evidence, question their famous companions, uncover hidden motives, and determine who committed the crime. All 23 suspect roles are unique characters. Each of the four expandable teams may include up to 30 duplicate, non-suspect players, allowing the complete game to accommodate more than 140 players.

We did this as a church group activity and kept it simple, but it was still a major hit and the talk days later. Another murder mystery is being requested!

Amazing time!

I found the game really awesome. It was my third time doing a game with MysteryParty.com and I really like how easy it was for me to plan and explain de game to my guests.
I had to traduce some of the cards since some of my guesses were only speaking French and the others were able to translate along the way. With all the theme option on this website, the only thing I could think of is having the game either in French or English. I think this would be a huge + for the company.

Great fun!!!

Definitely worth it! The instructions were very clear and concise, it was not too demanding for those not sure of themselves, and the characters were very easy to play. We played with 10 people, and could have used 2 more to flesh out more characters, but easily played with the 10 we had. We are going to do this again soon!

It was allot of fun. I messed up somewhere in the instructions as the game ended before it should have, but the guests still loved it!

Entertaining game!

It was a very entertaining game. My guests truly got into the spirit with great costumes and really immersed themselves into their character. It's unfortunate the game can't be played again. :(
I was pleased with how it the whole night panned out considering it was my first hosting of any party with 10+ ppl. The outline of events in the game was very clear and easy to follow.

Love the cheeseyness!

You need to find willing players first and then try and get them to really act their characters out. Was a hit for hosting my first murder mystery party!! Most people really got into their roles.

Best time we've ever had!

The characters were fun to play, the game was easy to follow and we've decided to do these games once a month. I'm definitely sticking with this company, it was the best party we've ever had.
